Why Paypal is not Suitable for the Citizens of Some Countries?

Paypal is the most popular online payment service but for some obvious reasons its service is useless for a handsome global population around the world.

Paypal is operating in 203 countries/regions and electronically processing payment in 26 currencies efficiently but there is a list of countries where Paypal is not supported for various financial and regulating reservations in the setup of the service there. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cuba, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, Pakistan and North Korea are among those countries/regions where Paypal is unavailable for the usage of their population.

The service of Paypal could be started in these countries if Paypal take some positive steps in this regard and solve the issues of mutual interest with dialogue. So as, these country must enforce or introduce some new financial or money regulation laws to protect the interests of the services of online payment like Paypal in their countries. Sadly, keeping in view the current political and financial scenario, it does not look like that the service of Paypal is going to be started near future in these countries.

People of these countries create their Paypal accounts with fake country name and other credentials. In start, it seems all fine for them but whenever they add some funds into it, their accounts become limited and Paypal ask them to verify their accounts. Paypal also ask them to fulfill the demands of money transfer and tax regulations of their fake countries. With no citizenship document, local bank account or credit/debit card, it become very hard or even impossible for these users to verify their accounts from a fake country name.

Consequently, their Paypal accounts remain limited. These users can not send or withdraw their hard earned money from their accounts or even use it for online purchasing. Sometimes, Paypal suspend these accounts for various suspicious activities in the recovery of these locked funds by their users.

Instead of making complaints and hue and cry on social media, it is better for the citizens of these countries to refrain opening money account on Paypal service until and unless Paypal put their real/original country name on the supported list. For the time being, citizens of these countries can use the services of other alternatives such as Payoneer, Payza and Skrill and keep away from the theft of their money by Paypal.
