Easypaisa is the product of Telenor Pakistan and Tameer Microfinance Bank Limited. It is the most popular branchless banking and secure money transferring service in Pakistan through mobile accounts and National Identity Cards (CNIC) numbers. Now Easypaisa introduced International Home Transfers which allow Pakistanis to receive money from over 80 countries through any of its sending partners.
A mobile connection is not required for this purpose and receiving the money is absolutely free of cost. Only a valid Pakistani Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is required for receiving the money on this service. There is no paper work or form filling requirement. No more waiting in queues. A remittance can be collected even at late hours or on Saturdays.
Any person with a need to send money from a foreign country to Pakistan can use this service. All he has to do to visit its nearest Easypaisa sending partner service, fills out a form and hands over the amount to be sent. Sender needs to write down the full name of the recipient as it appears on his/her Pakistani CNIC. Sending partner agent will generate a unique Transaction ID and give it to the sender. Sender will then communicate the Transaction ID to the receiver via phone/SMS/Internet.
After collecting the Transaction ID, receiver will has to visit any Telenor Franchise. Sales & Service Center or Tameer Bank branch with his/her original CNIC . Receiver can then collect his/her money along with receipt of the payment..
